Cookie policy

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Local storage works in a similar way, but the data stays in the browser and is not sent to the site automatically.

In this policy, "cookies" covers both.

We use as few cookies as we can. The list below shows every cookie and local storage key: its name, who sets it, what it is for and how long it lasts.

Strictly necessary: they remember your choice in the cookie banner. Without them, we would ask you on every page.

Preferences: they remember the light or dark theme, only if you choose one.

Statistics: Google Analytics shows us how many people visit the site and which pages they read, so we can improve it. We do not use this data for advertising or combine it with other data about you.

Strictly necessary and preference cookies work without consent, because they only serve what you asked for.

Statistics cookies are set only after you press "Accept" in the banner. Until then, the site does not load Google Analytics and sends nothing to Google. If you decline, the site works just the same.

Statistics data may reach the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We keep it for 2 months.

The "Cookie settings" link at the foot of every page reopens the banner, where you can change your choice at any time. If you withdraw consent, we delete the statistics cookies from your browser.

You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block the strictly necessary ones, the banner will appear again on every visit.

When we change the list of cookies or how we use them, we update this page and ask for your consent again.
